This tiny backpack was quite handy on a recent trip to Finland. It's surprisingly roomy. However before using it, try reinforcing the straps. I believe other reviews offered that helpful tidbit but I didn't follow their advice. The straps have now ripped away from the pack and it needs to be sewn by a professional. Of course taking it out to be sewn will cost more than what it costs. Still.... I carried about 10 books in it over a couple of days. I don't recommend that. It worked well for groceries and souvenir purchases while traveling. Although it ripped, (which really was my fault) I'm planning on ordering more of these items as holiday gifts for traveling friends.

If you really want a collapsible or folding backpack that works, I suggest spending $30 for one at REI. It's absolutely fabulous.

Kiva Key Chain Pack
I ordered two of these for a planned trip to the Galapagos Islands. The packs weigh next to nothing and take up little space but open instantly to hold sizable objects. These are great for holding camera lenses not in use out of the way. And they will be very useful for holding purchases when traveling.
